OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY BUCKET SWEEPSTAKES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

ELIGIBILITY: The sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and Canada (excluding Quebec). The following persons and their dependents are not eligible to enter or win: employees of Kidsreads.com or The Book Report, Inc. and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings and children) of each of the above.

HOW TO ENTER: The sweepstakes is open from 9AM on March 1, 2007 thru 11:59PM on April 27, 2007. While it is posted on Kidsreads.com, children can enter the sweepstakes by printing out and filling in an Entry Form (available in PDF format). You then can FAX your entry to 212-246-4640 or mail it to:

HOW TO WIN: Total number of eligible entries received determines odds of winning. From all eligible entries received, Kidsreads.com will randomly select Twenty-Five (25) Grand Prize winners on or about May 1, 2007. Each Grand Prize Winner will receive a Bucket of Books stocked with TWO copies (one for you and one to give to a friend) of THE MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY by Trenton Lee Stewart, HOW TO CHEAT A DRAGON’S CURSE as told to Cressida Cowell, ATHERTON by Patrick Carman and VAMPIRATES by Justin Stomper. (Approx. retail value: $130.00). In the event the Potential Winner is a Canadian resident, he/she (or, if the winner is a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) will be required to correctly answer a time-limited skill testing mathematical question to be administered by mail to receive the prize.

PRIZES: Kidsreads.com will notify the selected winners on or about May 2, 2007. The winners will have 30 days after notification to respond for collection of the prize.

ALL ENTRIES MUST BE POSTMARKED BY April 27, 2007.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY/RESERVED RIGHTS: Neither the Sponsor, nor the parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies, nor the promotional agencies shall have any obligation or responsibility with regard to (i) entries that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with these rules, (ii) entries, prize claims or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer or technical error of any kind, (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or (iv) any damages or losses of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize. The Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Web Site or otherwise violating these rules. The Sponsor further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes if the Sweepstakes cannot be completed as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
