A NOTE FROM BOOKER
Hello!
Are you ready to celebrate Thanksgiving? I love celebrating Thanksgiving because it is an American holiday that marks an important time in our country's history.
Not only do I love to celebrate our history, I love to read about it, too. One of my favorite books series is the Dear America series. Each book is about a different character set in a different period in our history. The authors take facts about what happened and mix them with fiction, so that we can learn how our country got to where it is now. So far, there are over twenty-four books in the series. If you like historical fiction, you would probably love the DEAR AMERICA Series by Scholastic!
And now drum roll, or should I say drumstick roll?
As promised we bring you our Harry Potter Movie Poll. When I saw the movie I enjoyed it so much and of course, wanted to know what YOU thought about it. So... I came up with a survey for everyone to take. I'd love it if you could take a few minutes to answer the 10 question survey that we've prepared for you! I'm really anxious to know what you thought. To answer the survey, click here.
Don't forget to get your answer in for this week's Question of the Week!
What did you think about the Harry Potter movie?
Send your answer to YouSaid@kidsreads.com. Write "Question" in the subject line. We'll post your answers online!
Since this week's newsletter is a special holiday edition, I am only including a few features that are live right now at kidsreads.com. We'll be back with a full lineup next week!
Here's to you, your family and friends having a wonderful, safe, and gobble good Thanksgiving!
--Booker T. Worm
