A NOTE FROM BOOKER
Hello!
I recently took my nieces and nephews to see the movie Stuart Little 2. We stopped at the candy counter and bought some Mike & Ikes and buttered popcorn to eat while we watched the movie in the nice cold movie theater. The movie was great, and I think we liked it a lot because Stuart Little is such a tiny mouse in the world of big humans. We are tiny worms ourselves. Before we went to the movie, we met at my sister's house to read the books. We love to do that so that we can compare the books to the movies. We decided we liked the books better than the movie, but we still loved the movie. I think Stuart Little is such a cute mouse, and I love his car! Have you seen the movie yet? I'd love to hear how you liked it. If you'd like to read more information on the book, take a moment to check out our reviews of the book Stuart Little 2 and several others in the series of books.
Now on to this week's news...

THE GARDEN BEHIND THE MOON
If you like books that are magical and exciting, The Garden Behind The Moon is one you won't want to miss. 11-year-old David is a moon calf. Life isn't easy for him on the brown earth because he's always being made fun of. One day David travels down the Moon Path and meets the Moon Angel. From that point on, David is transported to a magical world where he discovers the Moon House -- the house where the Man in the Moon lives. The adventure begins, and David faces many challenges in this magical book.
ENDER'S SHADOW
Nine-year-old Poke lives on the streets of Rotterdam. It's not easy living on the streets, having to deal with street gangs and beg for food. Poke befriends a 4-year-old boy which she names "Bean" and learns much from him as he's been able to survive life on the streets alone at such a young age. Bean is very smart and is quickly promoted in battle school to Command School, where he prepares for war with the Buggers. Although he's very smart, Bean has many things yet to learn in Ender's Shadow.

Run Free
Run with the wind,
My beauty,
For you are an eagle with wind beneath her wings!
My horse so faithful and true,
You must run free!
Run away home to your friends and kin,
You know where to go,
For you are born to be wild!
My wonderful horse,
You must run free!
My horse off you go into the night,
You are so swift,
For you are nothing but the wind!
My lovely lady,
You are running free!

Who I Miss
As I walk,
Tired and hopeless,
I think of him,
his long tail,
his glowing green eyes,
fur that shines and is as soft as silk,
His strong "meow",
his cute face,
What happened is a big disgrace,
Now that he's gone,
I think of him,
As I walk,
Tired and hopeless.

Grumpy, Sleepy, and dopey were on their lunch break at the diamond mine. Grumpy picked up his Lunch box and said, I really hate peanet butter and liverwurst sandwitches. If i have to eat one more peanut butter and liverwurst sandwith im going to run screaming into the woods. And Sleepy said I know what you mean. Everyday i open my Luch box and its the same old thing; Salami amd catsup im so tired of salami and catsup sandwitches. If i have one Again Today Im going to jump over the bridge. And Dopey said Gee I have broccoil and Mustard sandwitch everyday if thats on my lunch today I'll run up the hill and stay there. Dear Fellow Bookworms:
I have been reading a few great series. The first one is Sweet Valley High and Sweet Valley Senior Year. They are really good they have a mix of love, comedy, and friends. You should start with the very first of the series though or else it won't make much sense.
The second series I am reading are wishbone classics. The author does a great job taking classics and turning them in to words we understand. For school we had to read the Greek "Odyssey" by Homer I did not get one word in that book but when I read the wishbone series I got it. Thanks for listening to me talk about books bye!
*****
I just wanna recommend this book called Judy Blume's Story by Betsy Lee. Judy Blume fans will be greatly interested in this book because you can find out how Judy Blume got the idea for all her stories and some of her life is very touching. It's a really good book and I give it two thumbs up.

3. The Princess Diaries Volume 3
*These are great books for girls. They are funny, interesting, and relate to modern day girls (except for the princess part) I think everyone should read them!!!!
I also recommend any book by Ben Mikaelsen. He doesn't write series, but he has books about different things. Some are about survival, and some are about finding your true self. They are great books. Mr. Mikaelsen came to our school in the winter, and I got to meet him. He is really nice.

I just finished a book called Cleopatra VII daughter of the Nile. It is a book about (who else!) Cleopatra and her life, it is in diary form and I would say it is one of the best books I have ever read! One thing that I never knew was that Cleopatra and her husband Marc Antony died just like Romeo and Juliet, Marc Antony thinks Cleopatra has been killed so he attempts to kill himself but Cleo is actually in hiding his friends carry him to her and he dies in her arms. She is so devasted over his death that she kills herself. I loved this book I would recommend it to anyone who loves accurate historical fiction!!
*****
Has anyone read the Monica Dickens books? Like all the Follyfoot ones and Lands End ones? I am on the second Lands End and first Follyfoot; they are brill. Especially 4 anyone who likes animals!!!!!

Listen Up!!! I think that anybody who is looking for a good mystery to read for fun should read the boxcar children. My mom started reading them to me when I was younger, and now I'm 11, and they are easy reads, and now I'm hooked! I read them just for fun because they're pretty easy, but great books!!!!!!
