My favorite book that I had to read this summer was "Where the Red Fern Grows".  It was about an adventurous boy, who dreams to become a great hunter with his two dogs, Little Ann and Old Dan.  It was an excellent book!  But, the ending is very sad.

My answer to your Question, Bookworm, is definitely The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine. I am only about halfway through it but by far one of the best books I have ever read.

Of all the books I've read (so far, because my summer isn't over yet) the best is a two-way tie. I liked Just As Long As We're Together by Judy Blume and I also liked Bloomability  by Sharon Creech.

I read a really good book (I think it's in a series) called "Heartland: Come What May". It was about a girl whose father abandoned her mother and her and afterward they started a farm for abused horses called Heartland. When the story is taking place her mother had just died and her grandfather lives with her at Heartland, along with her sister. When her sister tries to write a letter to her father, Amy (the girl) gets upset. It's all about what happens to them and how they feel about it.

Then again maybe i won't by judy lume has got to be my favorite because i'm 12 and that book has a lot of things that describe what it's like to grow up.I meani just couldn't put that book down!!
