The Lemony Snicket books are great! I love the way he "leaves you hanging" at the end of each chapter, and he has 13 chapters on each book, and there are 13 due out. These books are also funny, suspensful, and scary. I sometimes gasp out loud when something unexpected happens. I highly recommend these books!

I really like the Lemony Snicket books just because they're so different. Not so much the story as the clever playfully dodging giving out full answer ways Snicket writes and how bluntly he informs you and keeps reminding the reader of how saddening the book is. Also how he goes about explaining words with clever relations to the story and how he gives away what will happen to Montgomery, and yet tells you nothing else to make you read more. His delightfully evading words are fun to read even as you mourn the unfortunate events which happen to Klaus, Sunny, and Violet Baudelaire.

I like how when your reading the books you can hardly get your nose out of the book because it is so action filled and when something bad you just know is going to happen you just hold your breath and your like "Oh No!"

I love reading his books. Lemony Snicket is the bomb! I just finished his fourth book. I thought it was great! I'm going to get his next book tomorrow and I'm going to pick up some more different books. I just love to read! I also like to write and thanks to your site I get to do both! As I read the first book in A Series of Unfortunate Events, I thought it was so depressing, I gave up on it. I thought that it was well written, though, but just not my style. Everybody in my class is crazy, and cannot wait until the release of the next book.

The answer is, the Lemony Snicket books are not like other books. In any other books with bad guys vs. good guys, the good guys always win. In these books the villian never gets caught so they're like real life where not everyone is getting caught by police. These books are not your normal boring super hero books (which are not bad to read) because the villian is always getting caught in those kinds of books. I know a lot of people who read his books and they catch on to them quickly. The Series of Unfortunate Events are books that you start to read but you can't stop.
