In this fourth book in the Sammy Keyes detective series, Sammy is up to her high-tops in mystery and mayhem. Dogs lift their legs on her and lowlifes stick guns in her face. She finds out that her old enemy, Officer Borsch, is almost human after all. And she learns that another old enemy, snoopy Mrs. Graybill, has to go to a nursing home. But her most difficult enemy, Heather Acosta, still makes life tough on Sammy. And Sammy returns the favor with her usual creative gusto.
