Twins appear in all kinds of fairy tales and myths from around the world. Two of the
most famous are Artemis, the Greek Goddess of the moon, nature, etc. and Apollo, her
brother, the God of the sun and music among other things. Together, these mythical twins
were an unstoppable force.
Fast forward a couple thousand years and jump over to America.Twin girls are born to a
powerful witch. She names them Apolla and Artemis, knowing that they will one day be great
and magical themselves. But before the twins are even beyond the diaper stage, an evil
wizard wants them dead. To save the babies' lives, their mother seperates them and vows
that they will not discover their true identities. A kindly wizard and a young witch are
charged with guarding over the twins.
Fast foward another 14 years or so. Cam Barnes is a perky, smart and popular soccer
player. She lives with her well-off family in a ritzy Massachusetts town and never leaves
home without her cell phone. Alex Fielding is a rebel, proud to be poor, even prouder of
her blue hair. She and her single mom live a hard scrabble life in a trailer in Montana.
A chance encounter at a theme park brings the two girls together. Two girls who are
nothing alike...except that they look exactly the same --- identical twins. And they both
have special powers: Cam can see things before they happen and Alex can read people's
thoughts. Oh and then there is the little matter of the necklaces the girls wear
obsessively; Alex has a moon and Cam has a sun...
I think you know what I am getting at here. The girls realize not only that they are
twins, but also that they are witches. Their realities are destroyed and they are thrown
headlong into danger. Because, like it or not, Cam and Alex must learn to work together.
They reluctantly put their powers to the test when a Britney-like diva named Marleigh is
kidnapped during a visit to Cam's high school.
Will Cam and Alex gain control of their powers and save the day before its too late? And
will they find out what friendship and sisterhood really means? Read this, the first in an
exciting new supernatural series and find yourself pulled into the world of T*Witches.
