Charlotte knows she's going to have a great summer. Her family has just moved into a new home and she's eager to get comfortable with the house and the neighborhood. She doesn't even mind that she has to baby-sit for her little brother much of the time. But as the summer moves along, Charlotte realizes she's not the only baby-sitter in the house. Slowly she discovers that the house is haunted by 10-year-old Susan, a girl who doesn't know she's dead and who has been waiting 50 years for her own family to return.
