Nothing has been the same since Susan's older sister Alison mysteriously disappeared. Susan's mother is now overprotective, fearing that something might happen to Susan, too. And Susan isn't sure how to make sense of the confusion in her life. Luckily, things start to look up as Susan makes great new friends at her new school, and also gets a supportive new stepfather.
