About the Book

A Christmas Tale: Geronimo Stilton Special Edition

Geronimo is in a fine Christmas spirit until everyone keeps telling him that the holiday is all about shopping and buying. Everywhere he looks, he sees ads. Every time he listens, he hears commercials. It's so bad, he even sees airplanes towing advertisement banners when he looks out the window.

Things go from bad to worse when Geronimo learns that his sister and nephew are going away on a tropical cruise for the holidays. Even Trap is leaving to take a cooking class. One by one, Geronimo's relatives and friends inform him that they will be gone for Christmas, leaving Geronimo alone to celebrate (?) by himself. Even Creepella von Cacklefur, who scares Geronimo with her spookiness and plans for marriage to him, won't be around.

Geronimo is SO sad about spending the holidays alone. Then he runs into his elderly neighbor, who is also by herself for Christmas. Next he meets more lonely folks. Hmm. Geronimo's apartment is all decorated for a celebration with friends. Maybe it won't be such a tragic Christmas after all?

This heartwarming holiday tale comes complete with a surprise ending --- and a pullout holiday board game.
