I'm Not a Supermouse!, Book 43

Geronimo may be a reporter, but his bravery on paper doesn’t always relate to his real life; as much as he would like to think that he’s a naturally adventurous type of mouse, he really isn’t. In fact, just catching his own reflection in an elevator mirror almost made him jump out of his skin! So when his friend Bruce Hyena, a true adventurer, forces him into another trip, this time to the Hamster Islands, Geronimo isn’t sure he’s making the right decision. But sometimes the things you don’t want to do become the things you are most glad you did.

Bruce takes Geronimo to the Sahara Desert. They bump through the sand atop camels, and Bruce puts Geronimo through a series of Real Mouse tests. Once he has encountered scorpions and dealt with all that comes with the hot and dusty trails they’ve been traveling, Bruce takes Geronimo to the North Pole and then to the Jungle. When they get back home and are confronted with a terrible situation that threatens the whole community, Geronimo finds that maybe he is a Supermouse after all!
