About the Book

Jeremy's Dreidel

Written by Ellie Gellman, Illustrated by Maria Mola

Jeremy sees a poster for a dreidel making workshop on the wall of the Jewish Community Center.  At the workshop, he is inspired to make his father a special dreidel.  Jeremy's dad is blind so the characters on the dreidel must be in Braille so his father can play.  Upon seeing Jeremy's dreidel, his friends all think he is just making up a secret code.  Can he make his friends appreciate his special dreidel?
