One thing I really appreciate about this survival guide is the inclusion of the different hieroglyphs, symbols and commands that Sadie and Carter Kane use throughout the series. These aspects sometimes fly by in the books amidst all the action, and in the guide you really get the chance to learn more about their origins and explore at your own pace. The same goes for the guides through the House of Life and the different magical places the Kanes visit in the series. All of this information really solidified in my mind what happened in the books, and I got a clearer picture of where everything was taking place.
