Geronimo's family is concerned because he hasn't written a book for a long time. He tells them he's lacking in inspiration. But he can't bemoan his writer's block for long because his strange friend, Creepella von Cacklefur, insists he accompany her to Cacklefur Castle in the Valley of the Vain Vampires. Creepella gives Geronimo the creeps --- and she wants to be his girlfriend. Geronimo refuses to go with Creepella, but she mousenaps him!

Geronimo is, of course, terrified of the incredibly spooky castle with its singing toilets, laughing bathtubs, tickling mattresses, flesh-eating strawberries, and other strange things. But he is absolutely scared to death when Creepella announces their impending marriage! Geronimo is in the worst trouble of his life. He's trapped and can't even call his sister for help since Creepella's watch plant ate his phone. The food at Cacklefur Castle is the worst ever.
