Emergency!! Geronimo's newspaper is in big trouble. A mysterious one-eyed rat is offering news dealers huge amounts of money to sell only the newspaper, The Roaring Rat. That same ominous rodent pays big bucks to booksellers to sell only books from The Roaring Rat Group. Next, Geronimo's office landlord asks him to leave, because the same one-eyed rat gave her tons of money to rent the space. And the bank, recently bought by a --- you guessed it! --- one-eyed rat, demands Geronimo pay off his loans and close his account.

Can Geronimo save his newspaper The Rodent's Gazetteand his Stilton Publishing book company from the menacing one-eyed rat bent on destroying him? Only if he appears on the spooky television game show "The Mousetrap" and wins the million-dollar prize. And if he loses? He might (gulp) actually lose his tail! Which is Geronimo more fond of --- his tail or his job?
