1. Judith Greenburg named the Andrew Lost series after her nephew, Andrew.

10. If you were in the back of the Water Bug, you would be amazed. It's divided into two spaces. On one side are a tiny kitchen with a little refrigerator, a microwave oven, and a sink with a cabinet underneath. And on the other side is the smallest bathroom ever.
    
    
11. In ANDREW LOST: IN THE WHALE we learn that Judy is allergic to seafood, and understandably she begins to develop hives while in the whale's stomach.
    
    
12. Soggy Bob Sloggins has an enormous blue parrot named Burpp, which stands for Bob's Ultra-Robot Parrot Partner.
    
    
13. In ANDREW LOST: ON THE REEF, we find out that Uncle Al is almost finished with his latest invention. The See Horse is a new underwater vehicle that he will use to find Andrew and Judy and help them save the giant squids.
    
    
14. The Great Barrier Reef is a coral reef near the eastern coast of Australia. It's more than a thousand miles long and was made by lots of tiny coral animals.
    
    
15. In ANDREW LOST: IN THE DEEP, we learn that Judy's mother and father taught her Morse Code before she went on her first African safari.
    
    
16. According to Burpp, Soggy Bob Sloggins used to be a good guy --- until a strange scientist named Doctor Kron-Tox hypnotized Soggy Bob, turning him into a despicable man.
    
    
17. How did Beeper Jones get his name? "Beep" was the only word he said until he was four years old, and everyone thought he was unable to talk.
    
    
18. Beeper's favorite sandwich is an interesting concoction: tuna and peanut butter.
