MY AMERICA by Scholastic

The newest series about early American life to come from Scholastic is called MY AMERICA. The diaries are similar to DEAR AMERICA and MY NAME IS AMERICA --- they tell the stories of fictional boys and girls that lived during an earlier era in our country's history. Their lives and the events that happen to them are a blend of fact and fiction so young readers can see what life would really have been like. But two things make the MY AMERICA diaries different: they are designed for the younger reader (age 7-10), and the characters will live on in future books of this series. Be sure to check out the reviews, the author info, and the special puzzle from Booker T. Worm!
