Characters
Katie Kazoo --- a very likeable and popular third grader. She enjoys spending time with her friends but wishes that boys and girls would learn to get along better. Katie is different from all the other children because she is able to be transformed into other people, even animals.
Jeremy Fox --- one of Katie's best friends. He loves spending as much time with Katie as possible.
Suzanne Lock --- Katie's other best friend. Unlike Katie, Suzanne isn't crazy about boys and doesn't enjoy spending too much time with them.
George Brennan --- once the class bully, George is now a very nice boy. He loves telling jokes and has a knack for making Katie laugh --- most of the time.
Mrs. Derkman --- Katie's teacher. She has very strict rules about how her students behave in the classroom.
Mr. Kane --- Katie's principal.
