Steve Goetz

Steven Goetz is a freelance reporter and photographer based in Toronto.

His work has appeared in the pages of the Toronto Sun, Hanover Post, Shoreline Beacon, Wiarton Echo, Lucknow Sentinel, The EyeOpener and other publications. He is a former news editor at The Ryersonian --- the print, online and broadcast news operation run by students in Ryerson University’s School of Journalism. He was a reporting intern at Metro Toronto, the city’s largest free daily, where he covered front-page news.

Twice he has worked as a reporter for The Kincardine News --- the 159-year-old weekly in his hometown --- where he also regularly contributed stories and photos to the Owen Sound Sun Times and many other Sun Media (now Postmedia) publications.

These days, Steve works freelance for newspapers and magazines.
