Series Updates

What's better than a book (and no, we don't mean ice cream)? It's a whole series of books! At, we know that a lot of you are all about series. Once you find characters, topics or a fictional world you love, you don't have to leave --- you can just move from one adventure to another to another. That's why we've decided to update our series features every month and compile the updates in an easy list.

July 2017

In our July series update, we have some great additions to our favorite series! First is SERAFINA AND THE SPLINTERED HEART by Robert Beatty. In the third book in the Serafina series, Serafina must uncover the truth about what has happened to her and the Biltmore Estate and find a way to harness her strange new powers before it's too late.

June 2017

In this month's series update, we have some great new additions to some of our favorite series! First up, we have THE MISADVENTURES OF MAX CRUMBLY 2: Middle School Mayhem by Rachel Renée Russell. In the second book in the Max Crumbly series, Max is surrounded by three grizzled criminals and only his friend and sidekick Erin can save him from this pickle. Next is John Claude Bemis' the next book in the Out of Abaton series, OUT OF ABATON, BOOK 2: Lord of Monsters, which follows Pinocchio and Lazuli as they fight off a monster set on destroying Abaton. And finally, we have THE FROG PRINCESS RETURNS by E.D. Baker, the next book in the Tales of the Frog Princess series. In this book, Emma has to restore order after the Fairy Queen disappears, leaving Greater Greensward open for very dangerous people to take over.

May 2017

Continue the series you love with our May Series Update! First, we have BILLY SURE KID ENTREPRENEUR AND THE ATTACK OF THE MYSTERIOUS LUNCH MEAT written by Luke Sharpe with illustrations by Graham Ross. In this twelfth installment, Billy must invent something to stop the attack of the evil lunch meat that has been turning his classmates into zombies. Next up, we have Chris Grabenstain's WELCOME TO WONDERLAND #2: Beach Party Surf Monkey, which follows all the chaos as P.T. and Gloria try to convince their favorite celebrities to shoot a movie in the Wonderland motel. Finally, we have THE TRIALS OF APOLLO BOOK TWO: The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riodan, in which Apollo embarks on a quest to reclaim his rightful place on Mount Olympus and save the Oracles after his father, Zeus, turns him into a mortal 16-year-old boy as a punishment.

April 2017

This month's Series Update includes some great new continuations to series that we love. Up first, we have BLAZE OF EMBERS, the third installment in The Books of Ore series, the conclusion to this series that follows characters who have grown so much after their time in a magical world that they stumbled upon --- and the war they stumbled into. Next we have TIMMY FAILURE: The Cat Stole My Pants, the sixth book in the Timmy Failure series, which follows the always hilarious Timmy as he solves a new crime with a new partner and attempts to get his pants back from a cat. Lastly, we have Lauren Oliver and H. C Chester's latest book in the Curiosity House series, THE FEARSOME BIRD, which follows Sam, Philippa, Thomas and Max as they continue to uncover the evil schemes of  Nicholas Rattigan.

February 2017

This month's Series update includes some great new continuations to series that we love. Up first, we have BILLY SURE KID ENTREPRENEUR VS. MANNY REYES KID ENTREPRENEUR, the 11th installment in the Billy Sure, Kid Entrepreneur series by Luke Sharpe and illustrated by Graham Ross is out. In this book, Billy Sure and Manny Reyes switch jobs, but Sure Things, Inc. might not have have room for both them. Next we have IN THE TRENCHES, the second in the SecondHand Heroes graphic novel series from Justin LaRocca Hansen, where Tuck and Hudson must take on a villain in their own neighborhood. Lastly, Jessica Day George's Tuesdays at the Castle series continues with the fifth book, SATURDAYS AT SEA, where Celie and her family set out on the high seas on a ship that looks like their beloved castle.
